The Trust is very pleased to welcome Louise to the Trust and looks forward to benefiting from her experiences. Louise sets out her vision for Early Years below:
'Give a child the opportunities and the confidence to communicate, to think creatively, to express ideas, to collaborate and to challenge and you will empower a new generation.

Through values based, high quality early education, I believe it is possible to provide a safe, secure and positive environment for children to interact, communicate, build relationships and learn which will ultimately impact on the local community.

Despite the significant changes and huge investment that has taken place during the last ten years, the importance of early education is still not well understood. It is our collective responsibility to make clear and cohesive arguments for financial and educational support for our field. Strong national networks are essential so that good practice can be shared and those working in the field (and outside it) will be challenged to reflect on and improve what they do.

During the next year, the National Education Trust will be working with teams from two hundred Children's Centres to establish these 'networks' or 'hubs' dedicated to promoting and sharing excellent practice and innovation in early education. I am delighted to join The National Education Trust and I look forward to working with you all.'
