NET is an exciting, fast growing, learner focused organisation. NET seeks to establish a national role in the field of education comparable to The King's Fund's position in national health.

NET is based in London and Oxford, important locations for establishing productive relationships with business, the university and third sectors, and for developing international links.

The job descriptions and conditions of service of the employed staff are to be determined by the Trustees. The Director and staff are responsible for the day-to-day running of NET and, together with the Trustees, shaping its practice and development.

The National Education Trust (NET) is an influential education independent foundation dedicated to improving the quality of education nationwide, shaping its future and working to help close the achievement gap. We are looking for experienced administrator with a good track record to help support our work.

NET is a small organisation that is making a big impact on the education sector.

Our ideal candidate will have:
  • The ability to work alone or as part of a team
  • A flexible, positive & enthusiastic approach to work
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • An interest in, and knowledge of, education
  • excellent communication skills
  • IT literacy.
Duties will include:
  • Support for NET programmes and initiatives.
  • Helping run a busy office
  • Finance and financial reporting
  • Event administration
  • Database management
  • Meeting administration.
We would consider two part time positions for the right candidates.

The salary will be £19k per annum, 6 weeks holiday (excluding bank holidays), 36 hours per week. This is a fixed term contract for 2 years.
