The National Education Trust (NET) is an independent foundation dedicated to improving the quality of education nationwide,
shaping its future and working to help close the achievement gap
NET is independent of political parties, private interest and government. NET seeks to shape local, regional and national policy through debate and advocacy. It seeks to promote change to education systems and practices in order to close the achievement gap.
NET offers the opportunity for practitioners to exchange ideas and share views on education issues of the day.
NET's Leading Thinkers stimulate debate in their chosen areas of education through articles, speeches, interviews and broadcasts.
NET conducts market research with families and children, students and other stakeholders to identify the views of education consumers.
NET publishes a series of commissioned pamphlets which challenge orthodoxies and stimulate fresh thinking on educational matters. Counterblasts and other NET publications are published by our partner www.triarchypress.com
Please email to the Director director@nationaleducationtrust.net any proposals for the Counterblasts series. NET welcomes authors on education with something fresh and challenging to say.
